JVW FC announces new partner

Unique support for women’s football with benefits to the welfare of animals

SASOL league stalwarts JVW Football Club, are being partnered by the well-known Jack Russell Estate Agency, which is the first by an estate agency for women’s football.

The deal will see the progressive JVW Football Club, founded by the legendary current Banyana captain, Janine Van Wyk, receive a monthly grant plus financial incentives from the Edenvale based Jack Russell Estate Agency. The exciting angle that both parties are particularly encouraged about is that the welfare of animals will also receive much need support.

As part of the partnership, JVW Football Club players will also receive financial planning advice and presentations from Jack Russell’s network of business partners.

While Jack Russel is niche estate agency brand servicing the greater Edenvale region, the company has a long heritage with its support of the local community and has the preservation and support of animal welfare as an integral part of its DNA.

Sam du Toit, Managing Director and co-owner of Jack Russell Estates, said:
“As a female, I have been really impressed and a supporter of women’s football and am particularly impressed with JVW Football Club and their vision for the future and am delighted to have come to an agreement. Janine Van Wyk, is now an icon and residing in our agencies footprint plus her own personal interest and love of animals, got us thinking of developing a win-win partnership for both of us. We are not a big agency, but I can assure you that I and my team at Jack Russell will become huge fans of JVW FC and hopefully we can accomplish our joint goals – and in particular we can both help change the lives of the animals in our small way.”

Daryl Sogot, co-owner of Jack Russell Estates, said:
Lauren Duncan’s hard work and passion for the JVW club is remarkable and I am more than positive this relationship will prove to grow indefinitely. I am so excited as my agency moves into newer marketing avenues and I would like to send my best wishes to the entire JVW Football Club team for a successful season.”

Lauren Duncan, JVW Football Club project leader, said:
“On behalf of the entire club of players, parents, supporters and our loyal anchor sponsor Carfind.co.za, I would like to thank both Sam and Darryl from Jack Russell Estates for their belief in our club. We at JVW Football Club deeply appreciate the confidence in our new partners. We have planned a very exciting animal day and will be there to support Jack Russell in their numerous animal charities.”

Fran Hilton Smith, assistant technical director of the South African football Association and head of women’s football, said:
“Great news for women’s football and this innovative partnership is definitely refreshing especially with Jack Russell’s financial support, incentive programme and support of animals, which is also very close to my heart. Well done Jack Russell and well done to JVW on this exciting announcement and I would like to urge other companies to consider supporting our growing women’s game.”
